The Spirit of the Tabernacle of David

The Spirit of the Tabernacle of David

  • A. The Scripture declares that God will restore the Tabernacle of David. I believe that it involves worldwide dynamic that will be restored in three dimensions.
  • a. A priestly dimension – focused on 24-hour day worship and intercession that reflects elements of the Davidic order of worship.
  • b. A prophetic dimension – focused on the release of the prophetic ministry in the church of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:17 says that “all” will receive dreams and visions, etc.
  • c. A kingly dimension – Restoration of the nation of Israel in God’s glory is a focus on the apostolic ministry building the church in power and Divine order fulfilling the Great Commission in the generation the Lord returns.
  • B. The Tabernacle of David in all three dimensions had its beginning of restoration in the New Testament church in the book of Acts. However, the fullness of these three dimensions was not fully restored in completion in Acts. I believe that their fullness has not yet been manifest.
  • C. I believe the church in the generation that the Lord returns will embody the mature fulfillment of all three dimensions of the Tabernacle of David that the nations might know God.
  • D. The Tabernacle of David is essential in the completion of the Great Harvest of souls promised to the church at the end of the age.
  • E. The emerging prayer movement focuses on the priestly dimension of the Tabernacle of David. That is, ministering to the Lord in the spirit of the Davidic order of worship that continues 24 hours a day including the whole church across a city.
  • F. The Davidic order of worship is only a beginning of the revelation of the heavenly order. The worship around God’s Throne in the heavenly symphony as seen in Rev. 4-5 is the highest ideal of the New Covenant church.
  • G. We believe that many cities of the earth will eventually establish a 24-hour-a-day, citywide house of prayer in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David – Amos 9:11-12; Isa. 56:7; Matt. 21:13; Zech. 8:18-21; 12:10; Rev. 5:8; etc.
  • H. We believe that such citywide prayer ministries will fill the earth before the Lord returns. At the current time, this type of ministry is not yet well established worldwide.
  • I. Our prayer goal is to agree with God and the local leadership of the Body of Christ in each of these cities until a 24-hour-a-day, citywide house of prayer in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David is established in each metro city of the earth.
  • J. We believe that the Lord will establish such a ministry even throughout Israel and especially Jerusalem. Imagine the task of establishing the house of prayer in Jerusalem.
