The Book of John
I’ve started a new study on the Book of John. A small group of friends and I are getting together once a week to go through the book. We’re taking it a chapter a week for the next year. Our goal is to get through the book twice this year. So each week I’ll be jotting down notes and then after I turn them into complete thoughts I’ll post them. So far, the studies have been totally inconsistent in their observations and content.
Each week we usually go off on major bunny trails and never get around to finishing the content within the chapter. Though the chapters may be incomplete in analyzing the entire content, nonetheless these thoughts are well worth your read. The guys in our Bible study group are all pioneer missionaries who spend their days in a prayer room communing with God. They are all highly respectable persons with burning hearts for Jesus and jealousy for truth.
Our studies are on Tuesdays (New Zealand Time), so my goal is to finish writing the notes by Tuesday night or Wednesday, and then publish them under the John section. I’ve started a little late (in John 10) but better late than never. So the series will start in the 10th chapter (last week) and tonight I’ll add the 11th chapter (this week’s) - Jordan
